“Synergy”
This piece was inspired by the contrasting yet cohesive concepts of the natural world versus the industrial world. I chose this theme due to its constant and unmistakable presence that is something we often look right over and fail to examine. The symbiosis of the world of people, nature, connection, emotion, touch, and depth coupled with the industrial concepts of calculation, power, construction, repetition, and foundation is both fascinating and intimidating. The careful balance of both worlds is important – one system overpowering the other can be cause for severe and dangerous outcomes. In a world that houses these extremes, we must maintain such cohesion to continue providing our world with this combined power that gives communication, strength, support, and reach.
